Privacy policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Haai (haai.us) collects, why, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language. If something isn't clear, contact us.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use it to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. When you sign up for our newsletter, the form is provided by a third-party CRM service (Sphere CRM, via link.sphere-crm.com), which receives the details you enter and stores them so we can send you email. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter using the link in each message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site running and secure. Our wire and feed boxes load headlines through a script on our own server; that request doesn't share your information with the publishers whose headlines appear.

Cookies and analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data, such as pages visited and approximate location. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Advertising

Ads on Haai are delivered through Revive Adserver (servedby.revive-adserver.net). The ad server may set cookies or read device information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad and count impressions and clicks. We don't sell your contact information to advertisers.

Third-party links and embeds

Our pages link to other sites, including news publishers in our feed boxes and share buttons for social networks. When you follow those links or use those services, their privacy policies apply, not ours.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping, then delete them. Newsletter data stays with our email provider until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion; we don't sell personal information as the CCPA defines it. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you similar rights, and our legal bases are your consent (newsletter), our legitimate interests (site security and analytics) and responding to your requests. To use any of these rights, contact us. We won't treat you differently for doing so.

Children

Haai is written for working adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Questions or requests go through our contact page.
